Village of Roxana – Administration, Police & Fire Facility

Roxana, Illinois

Louer Facility Planning was selected by the architectural team early in the design process to provide planning, specification, and furniture for the new Village of Roxana Administration, Police, and Fire facility. The project brought together multiple departments that had previously operated in aging, inefficient buildings, creating a unified space designed to better serve both staff and the community.

Working alongside FGM Architects, our team furnished a wide range of environments throughout the building, including administrative offices, the mayor’s office, clerk and council chambers, conference rooms, police offices and dispatch, fire department living quarters, and shared public spaces. The facility also includes specialized environments such as interview rooms for victims and witnesses, as well as secure areas for detained individuals—each thoughtfully planned to support their specific function.

Special attention was given to high-use areas, particularly within the fire department dayroom and living spaces. These environments were designed to feel comfortable and home-like, while incorporating durable, high-performance furniture solutions built to withstand continuous, heavy use.

Our approach focused on aligning furniture solutions with the architectural vision, ensuring each space was both functional and cohesive. The project was delivered using OMNIA and other cooperative purchasing contracts, providing the Village with transparency, compliance, and efficiency throughout the procurement process.

The result is a professional, well-integrated environment that supports daily operations across all departments while enhancing the experience for the public they serve.
