Godfrey Fire Protection District
Godfrey, Illinois
Louer Facility Planning partnered with the Godfrey Fire Protection District to furnish a new, state-of-the-art fire station designed to support both fire and EMS services while serving as a vital community resource.
The project included furniture planning and procurement for key areas such as the public lobby, administrative offices, day room, bunk rooms, and a training and emergency operations center. Each space was designed to support the demands of a 24/7 public safety facility—balancing durability, functionality, and comfort for first responders and staff.
Furniture selections were coordinated with the interior architecture to create a cohesive, professional environment that reflects the department’s commitment to service. Living and shared spaces were designed to support rest and recovery, while operational areas promote efficiency, organization, and readiness.
Durability, adaptability, and long-term performance were central to every decision, ensuring the furnishings can withstand the rigorous daily use typical of fire stations and emergency response environments.
This municipal furniture project was completed using the OMNIA Partners cooperative purchasing contract, providing competitively sourced pricing, streamlined procurement, and responsible use of public funds.
