Louer Facility Planning partnered with Anderson Healthcare to provide interior design and furnishing solutions for the Surgery Center at the Goshen Campus in Glen Carbon, Illinois—the first building constructed on the campus and a key step in expanding access to outpatient surgical services for the surrounding community.

Designed as a standalone, easily accessible facility, the surgery center brings high-quality care closer to patients while creating a welcoming and thoughtfully planned environment. A central atrium anchors the space, featuring a dynamic flooring pattern and coordinated seating arrangement that establishes a strong visual focal point and supports intuitive flow throughout the building.

Our team worked in close coordination with Anderson Healthcare leadership and the design-build team to guide the interior environment from concept through installation. Louer provided architectural finish selections, coordinated casework, flooring layout, and lighting integration—ensuring a cohesive and well-coordinated design throughout the space.

In addition to furnishing the space, Louer selected, placed, and installed artwork throughout the facility. Featuring botanical and nature-inspired motifs by a local artist, the artwork brings warmth and life into the interior, complementing a palette of soft, neutral finishes designed to create a calming, healing environment for patients and visitors.

The result is a cohesive, light-filled space that supports patient comfort, staff efficiency, and a high-quality care experience—bringing the Anderson Healthcare presence into the heart of the Glen Carbon community.
