Our Process
Design. Plan. Deliver.
We’re more than a furniture resource — we’re a hands-on partner in shaping spaces that support the way your organization works. Whether you’re building new, renovating, or reconfiguring, we help you make smart decisions and keep things moving from start to finish.
We stay involved from the first conversation to the final walkthrough — solving problems, coordinating the details, and making sure everything comes together the way it should.
Design – Smart solutions, built around your needs.
We start by listening. Our planning and design services help uncover what’s working, what isn’t, and where there’s room to improve. We bring ideas and product knowledge to the table, helping you make informed decisions with clarity and confidence.
Services include:
- Space planning and layout recommendations
- Product research and tailored furniture solutions
- Coordination with interior designers and architects
Deliver – We follow through — every time.
When it’s time to bring the plan to life, we manage the details so you don’t have to. Our team coordinates procurement, ordering, delivery, and installation to make sure everything arrives as expected. If something doesn’t go right, we make it right. We’re with you through closeout and beyond.
Services include:
- Procurement and delivery coordination
- Professional installation
- Punch walks, adjustments, and ongoing support
Procurement & Cooperative Purchasing Contracts
Many of the organizations we serve — including healthcare systems, educational institutions, municipalities, and non-profit organizations — must follow specific procurement requirements when purchasing furniture.
Over the years, Louer Facility Planning has developed extensive experience working within cooperative purchasing contracts and established procurement vehicles. These competitively solicited agreements allow participating organizations to purchase products and services without conducting a full bid process of their own.
For procurement teams, the biggest advantage is often time. Cooperative contracts streamline the purchasing process, allowing projects to move forward more efficiently while maintaining compliance with purchasing regulations.
More importantly, these contracts allow us to work collaboratively with clients and project teams to identify the right solutions for their space, budget, and operational needs — rather than approaching the project strictly as a vendor responding to a bid.
We frequently support projects utilizing cooperative purchasing programs such as OMNIA Partners, Sourcewell, TIPS, BuyBoard, and Equalis Group.
For higher education institutions in Illinois, we also work with the Illinois Public Higher Education Cooperative (IPHEC) contract, which allows participating colleges and universities to procure furniture through competitively awarded agreements.
For federal agencies and federally funded projects, we can also coordinate purchases through GSA contract purchasing vehicles when applicable.
Our experience navigating these procurement frameworks allows us to partner closely with clients and project teams, helping deliver furniture solutions that support the project goals while saving time and simplifying the purchasing process.

Why Louer?
