Collinsville-based Louer Facility Planning completed several interesting and unique interiors projects in 2021. One is icon Mechanical’s new headquarters building in Granite City (left photo). Louer Facility Planning was the successful bidder to provide furniture for the new 40,000-square-foot headquarters building completed in May 2021.

After award, the Louer team worked in tight collaboration with Gray Design Group, the architectural and interior design firm, to bring the vision to reality. The space features Haworth brand workstations, private offices and seating along with several other vendors for the meeting and social spaces.

Another is the Village of Roxana’s Village Hall and Public Safety Facility in Roxana. Louer Facility Planning was chosen by the Village of Roxana to provide furniture selections and procurement for their combined new building for administration, police and fire departments. Louer worked closely with FGM Architects to maintain architectural design integrity and to coordinate the furniture with the building function and finishes. The building was 27,000 square feet and completed in March 2021. Furniture was provided for offices, lounges, day room, bunk rooms, Village Council room, conference rooms, open collaborative spaces and outdoor areas.

Louer was also selected and provided furniture for the SIU Family Medicine Residency offices in Alton. SIU School of Medicine partnered with BJC and SIHF to create the first of its kind, family medical residency program, at the Alton Memorial Hospital campus. The suite includes a variety of spaces to give residents the tools they needed for learning, and to provide offices for the doctors and administrators in charge of the program. This project was completed in July 2021.

Louer Facility Planning collaborated with Southwestern Illinois College, its design team and a host of specialty suppliers to turn a former computer lab in the Main Complex Building into a state-of-the-art Esports gaming center.
