Louer Assists Growing Businesses in Making the Right Choices
COLLINSVILLE – As companies rebound from the economic downturn and begin to hire and grow again, Louer Facility Planning, Inc. is helping employers make wise choices – decisions about their workspace that fit their people and reflect their corporate culture.
“We make it our priority to understand specifically what our clients do and how they do it,” said Yvette Paris, design director at Louer Facility Planning. “Budget, aesthetics and company culture all play integral roles in our overall interior design strategy.”
One of LFP’s current clients is a law firm based in East St. Louis that is planning a move to Edwardsville. The firm has a significant amount of paper flow – client records, accounting records and more – and is transitioning to a smaller office space than where currently resides. Phase one of LFP’s work with this client entails meeting on site with each member of the law firm’s staff – from managing partner to administrative personnel – and learning the precise requirements each has to perform their best work. Once that initial assessment of individual workspace needs has been completed, LFP will begin the process of allocating space and designing the look.
“We do the best we can to gain as much input as possible from the client early on,” said Paris, who has led LFP’s design team for nearly eight years. “The process is markedly distinct for each sector in which we work. If it’s a healthcare facility, the needs and requirements are completely different from those of a corporate office headquarters.”
Due to company founder Jane Louer’s comprehensive background in commercial construction, LFP is able to lend its expertise early on in the client’s design and construction process. According to Louer, that’s a unique identifier for her company.
“My years in the construction industry enable Louer Facility Planning to dive more deeply into the entire project process at a much earlier stage than many commercial interior designers,” Louer said. “We’re able to partner with the owners early on, bearing in mind the owner’s vision, budget and construction schedule – and interacting with the entire project team in a positive way to keep the work on track and achieve the client’s expectations.”
LFP pairs with furniture designer and manufacturer Haworth, a specialist in adaptable workspaces, to fulfill clients’ specific color schemes and other specificities.
Louer Facility Planning is headquartered at 1100 Eastport Plaza Drive in Collinsville. For more information, contact Paris at (618) 344-9610 or [email protected].
